Meet The Doctors

 

 

 

Daniel J. Crofton, D.D.S., M.D.

Dr. Crofton is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He received his BA degree in biology from Hamilton College, his DDS degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, his MD degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse and he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Crofton also completed a General Surgery internship and a residency in General Dentistry. He is a member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  Dr. Crofton has served as President of the Central Florida District Dental Association, President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, and President of the Lake County Dental Association.  He also serves on the Florida Hospital Cancer Center Head and Neck Tumor Board.  Dr. Crofton serves on the Florida Dental Association’s House of Delegates and he is a consultant for the Florida Dental Political Action Committee.

 

Daniel L. Bower, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Bower is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He received his BA degree in chemistry and biology from Asbury College in Kentucky, and his DMD degree from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine.  He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at The Ohio State University in 2004 where he received his Master of Science degree.  Dr. Bower served as a United States Marine, and later served as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with the US Navy for 12 years.

 

 

 

Jeremy R. Gies, D.M.D.

Dr. Gies is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He received his BS degree in Biochemistry and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego.  He is a member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  Dr. Gies served in the United States Navy for 11 years

David E. Hall, D.D.S.

Dr. Hall is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He received his BA degree in Psychology  from St. John Fisher College, and his DDS degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.  He completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency from the 96th Medical Group at Eglin AFB, and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at David Grant Medical Center.  During his 21 year career in the United States Air Force, Dr. Hall has served as a Staff Surgeon, Squadron Commander, Deputy Medical Group Commander, Training Director for an oral & maxillofacial residency training program, and culminating in being selected as the Consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

 

 

Ryan J Pryor, D.D.S.

 Dr. Pryor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He received his BS degree in Biochemistry, Cellular & Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, and his DDS degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry.  He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Naval Medical Center San Diago.  Dr. Pryor served in the United States Navy for 10 years, and then completed a 12 month Fellowship in Oral/Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery at the University of Tennessee

Barry A. Loughner, D.D.S., M.S., PhD

Dr. Loughner obtained his BS degree in Biochemistry from Pennsylvania State University, and his DDS degree from New York University. He completed his three-year Face Pain Fellowship at the Parker Mahan Facial Pain Center at the University of FL, and stayed on at UF, completing a MS in Anatomy and a PhD in Neurophysiology. Dr. Loughner practiced at the Midwest Center for Head Pain Management at Stouder Memorial Hospital in Tory, Ohio for seven years. He has published numerous articles on face pain and headaches, and is a frequent lecturer in that field. Dr. Loughner also teaches a head and neck anatomy course that is well known nationally. He is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain, the American Pain Society, the American Dental Association, and the Ethics Committee of the American Association for the Study of Headache.

 


All doctors are members of the American Dental Association, Central District Dental Society, FL Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
